St. Augustine Academy Press – Part of the challenge in bringing up Catholic children today is in finding suitable material for their voracious minds — material that will bring a moral understanding of the world as well as a factual one.  Material you can trust not to lead them astray.

In searching for some long-lost, out-of-print books, we have found a treasure trove of just such material.  One by one, we are bringing these titles back into print so that today’s families can benefit from these lost treasures, at prices that are affordable.

Of special note is the beautiful and instructional missal assembled and printed by St. Augustine Academy Press: Treasure and Tradition – The Ultimate Guide to the Latin Mass.  In full color and with rich illustrations and liturgical and historical explanations, it is wonderful for children, and still beautiful and reverent for any age looking to learn to follow the Latin Mass.

Sancta Missa – An online tutorial for learning the Latin Mass

Biretta Books – A webstore affiliated with St. John Cantius Parish (dedicated to fostering a profound sense of the sacred) which offers books, music and other materials for those searching for Latin Mass resources

Auxilium Christianorum – The Church teaches us that it is divided into the Church Triumphant (which includes the members of the Church in heaven), the Church Suffering (this includes the members of the Church in purgatory), and the Church Militant (this refers to those members of the Church who are alive in this world). Because we are part of the Church Militant, we are in a spiritual warfare and this spiritual warfare requires that we recognize, as Saint Paul teaches us “For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places.” (Ephesians 6:12)

The members of the Auxilium Christianorum should always bear in mind the reality of our state as members of the Church living in this world. Despite St. Paul’s teaching, many Catholics do not take seriously their obligation to wage war against the demonic forces. It is for this reason the Association of the Auxilium Christianorum was founded.

Sensus Traditionis – This website is dedicated to the defense of the orthodox Catholic faith as well as a promotion of serious academic thought in the areas of Catholic theology and philosophy.  The Multimedia page contains several excellent audio sermons.
