As the priest comes toward you,&nbsp;<strong><em>close your eyes, tilt your head back, extend your tongue, and remain perfectly still.<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong><em>Do not say Amen. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">The priest will place the Host on your tongue (never touching your tongue with his hand) and then you may withdraw to your pew. As you go, allow the Host to soften slightly in your mouth and then swallow It, without breaking It in your mouth or chewing It. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">The Real Presence of Our Lord Jesus Christ remains within you for approximately fifteen minutes.
